Portfolio Submissions

Fotogalleriet welcomes portfolio submissions from artists exploring photography, moving image, and other camera-based practices. We are particularly interested in work that is exploratory, research-driven, and responsive to contemporary cultural, social, and political conditions.

Who can apply
– Emerging and established artists, collectives, and interdisciplinary practitioners
– Applicants based in Norway or internationally

What we offer
– Consideration for exhibitions, screenings, publications, and research-based projects
– Professional feedback and dialogue with our curatorial team
– Visibility across Fotogalleriet’s communication platforms and networks

Submission guidelines
– Artist statement (max. 500 words)
– Portfolio (10–15 works with captions; may include stills, moving-image links, or documentation)
– CV (max. 2 pages)
– Optional: short proposal for potential projects or collaborations

By applying, you consent to Fotogalleriet storing your submitted material for up to two years.
