Fotogalleriet supports international experts’ visits in their research into Norwegian artistic photographic practices, alone or collaborating with other institutions. These visits are at the institution’s invitation, but if you are interested, please get in touch.

Our exhibitions are free and open to all. Fotogalleriet has no admission fees for entering our location in Møllergata 34.

Please come in to see our exhibition, and if you have questions just ask our reception staff. We are always happy to tell you more about our exhibitions on view.For groups of 5–30 people
If you are curious to learn more about our exhibitions and
have a unique visit, please contact us and request a free tour by sending an email to post@fotogalleriet.no. You’ll receive a response from us within a week (no later than seven working days). One of our experienced staff members will welcome you to our space and give you an introduction of 10–15 minutes.

We regularly offer introductions to our exhibition to students of all ages. Fotogalleriet holds a library with approx. 1.100 books and 1.400 magazines, with the canonic history of photography and new publications connected to young and up-and-coming Norwegian and international photography.
