We also offer mediation activities throughout the year that create different ways of engaging with contemporary photography and lens-based art. These include Scaffolding, a series of critical writing workshops led by artists and writers that offer tools for thinking through access, ableism, and disability justice in relation to image-making, and Mediated Visits, which invite shared encounters with exhibitions through collective discussion, mapping, and other participatory formats.

These activities are part of Fotogalleriet’s ongoing commitment to thinking with and through images, and are curated by Research and Education Curator Belén Santillán.
